Family photos are about so much more than smiling at the camera. They are a celebration of the people you love most and the season of life you're in right now. Every year brings new milestones, new adventures, and new little details you'll never want to forget. My goal is to capture the genuine connection, laughter, hugs, and love that make your family uniquely yours.

These moments matter.
Let's preserve them together.

Choose Your Location

Select from a curated list of beautiful South Orange County locations based on the look and feel you'd like for your photos.

Options include:
  • Beach
  • Parks
  • Open fields and wilderness areas
  • Urban settings

Not sure which location is right for your family? I'm happy to help you choose one that matches your vision.

Thinking of bringing your furry family member?
Please let me know ahead of time if you'd like your dog to be part of your session. Some locations have pet restrictions, so we'll want to choose a spot that's both beautiful and dog-friendly to ensure everyone in the family can be included.

What to Wear

The good news? You do not need perfectly matching outfits.

The most beautiful family photos come from authentic connection—not perfect coordination. Years from now, you'll notice the way your child held your hand or the way your family laughed together far more than whether everyone's outfit matched exactly.

Tips for Creating a Beautiful Look

  • Start with one patterned piece you love and build your color palette from there.
  • Choose 4–6 complementary colors and mix shades throughout the family.
  • Incorporate texture and layers whenever possible.

Variety Creates Interest

Instead of everyone wearing jeans and the same style shirt, think about each person's personality and style.
Mix:
  • Dresses
  • Rompers
  • Skirts
  • Button-downs
  • Linen pieces
  • Layers
  • Shorts or pants

The goal is coordinated, not identical.

A Few Things to Avoid

  • Large logos
  • Neon colors
  • Busy graphics
  • Clothing that doesn't fit comfortably
  • Apple Watches and smart watches (they can quickly date photos)

The Secret to Amazing Family Photos

It's actually pretty simple.

Before Your Session
  • Get a good night's sleep.
  • Try outfits on ahead of time.
  • Plan extra time for getting ready.
  • Pack snacks and water for little ones if needed.
  • Arrive a few minutes early so everyone can settle in.

A special note to parents of little ones
: Please don't worry if your child doesn't want to smile on command. Some of my favorite images happen in between the posed moments. We'll play games, explore, cuddle, and let kids be kids. The goal isn't perfection—it's connection. Trust the process, and we'll create beautiful memories together.

Most Importantly...
Keep It Fun

Children don't need to be perfect.

In fact, some of the sweetest images happen when they're being completely themselves.

Try not to stress about every hair being in place or every smile being camera-ready. The more relaxed everyone feels, the more genuine your photos will be.

Avoid last-minute outfit battles, rushing, or repeated reminders to "smile." Kids can sense stress, and it often shows up in photos.

Instead, come ready to play, laugh, cuddle, and enjoy time together.

Leave the Posing to Me

You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera.

I'll guide you every step of the way with prompts, movement, and natural posing that feels comfortable and authentic.

So take a deep breath, love on your people, and let me do the rest.

My job is to create a fun, relaxed experience while capturing the moments you'll treasure for years to come.
